What we build in Langley
New Residential Construction
The complete process of building a home from the ground up: planning, site preparation, foundation, framing, mechanical systems, inspections and final finishes.
Custom Home Builds
Homes built to your drawings, with one point of contact responsible for trades, sequencing and quality control throughout.
Home Renovations & Remodels
Kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home interiors, planned around how you live in the house while the work is underway.
Additions & Extensions
Extra space added to an existing home: structurally sound, properly tied in, and detailed so the addition reads as original.
Basement Finishing & Suites
Finished lower levels and legal suites, built to code with the separations, egress and services the permit requires.
Permit & Design Coordination
Drawings, consultants and municipal approvals managed on your behalf so the build starts without avoidable delay.
Laneway Homes, Garden Suites & Multiplexes
Laneway homes, garden suites and multiplexes, from finding out what your lot allows to the drawings, permits and the build itself.
Building in Langley
Langley is two municipalities: the City of Langley and the Township of Langley. Each has its own zoning and issues its own building permits, so the first step is confirming which one your property is in.
Both follow the BC Building Code. BC’s small-scale multi-unit housing rules apply to single-family lots in their urban areas; rural and farm properties follow different rules, including the Agricultural Land Reserve’s.

All projectsBuilding in Langley: common questions
City or Township of Langley: does it matter?
Yes. They are separate municipalities, each with its own zoning and building permits.
Do you build in Langley?
Yes. Langley is one of our service areas, next door to Surrey, where our office is.
Can I build on a rural or farm property?
Often, but land in the Agricultural Land Reserve has its own rules on homes and buildings, set by the Agricultural Land Commission. We check what applies first.
