Building in the Fraser Valley
Building permits are issued by the City of Abbotsford, the City of Chilliwack, or, for rural areas outside the cities, the Fraser Valley Regional District. The drawings, consultants and permits are coordinated for you.
Much of the valley is in the Agricultural Land Reserve, where the Agricultural Land Commission’s rules decide what can be built on farmland, including homes and farm buildings. We check what applies before anything is drawn.
